Bad news: Jack is still trapped in the Hidden Side, and he needs Parker’s help to make his way back in one piece. Worse news: to get Parker’s attention, Jack will have to haunt her – but haunting someone is a lot harder than it looks.

Plot

Vaughn and Jack arrive at Newbury High School, where Jack realizes that he can see the Human World from the Hidden Side with his phone while Vaughn mistakes the school for a work mill but Jack tells him that the place is a school, leaving Vaughn to believe that Jack works as a teacher.

Jack and Vaughn enter the school and Jack uses the app to search for Parker and sees her running up to J.B. asking if she saw Jack but J.B. says no. Parker becomes worried since she thought Jack had simply lost his phone and suspects that a ghost got him. Parker runs though the hallway until she is stopped by Mr. Clarke, who orders her to go to class. Parker tries to protest, but Mr. Clarke doesn't want to hear any more excuses. He again orders her to go to class and Parker has no choice but to do so. Jack and Vaughn follow her since she is the only one who can help Jack.

At Mr Clarke's classroom, Jack tries to haunt Parker to get her attention, but Vaughn tells him that ghosts need a Soul Artifact to haunt the Living Side, which neither of them have. Jack then pushes Parker out of frustration, which actually works, although Parker doesn't realize that it was Jack and thinks the boy sitting behind her did it. Vaughn believe that haunting weakens Jack's connection to the Living Side just like staying in the Hidden Side for too long. Jack keeps trying to get Parker's attention by flipping the light's switch, turning the pages of Parker's book, and drawing a happy face with the jam of her sandwich on her desk at lunch time but Parker dismisses the incidents on the school being an old building or herself.

When the bell rings, Parker quickly dashes out of the room and tries to leave the school to resume her search for Jack while the latter runs after her until Vaughn stops him. He tells him that haunting is about fear and he needs to channel fear and truly scare Parker, but Jack says that nothing scares her. Vaughn tells him that the thought of losing Jack does, so Jack resorts to yelling Parker's name, which makes Parker finally notices him and uses the Ghost Hunting app to see him. She is shocked to find Jack and her great-great-great-great-grandfather. Vaughn states that she did seem familiar to him while Jack stares at him in disbelief.
